Daughter of Light
This book is about (1) the threats posed by demagogues and the profound vulnerability of humanity to tribal thinking, (2) the existential threat posed by super-intelligent machines, and (3) how—despite the threats—we can improve human civility and civilization. Since the opening scene takes place in 2171, the closest genre is science fiction, but I have no intention of following the rules of that genre. My goal is to make this book a highly informative, entertaining, and life-changing experience. In about three months (July 2020) I will begin releasing a chapter a week. This website will serve as a repository for all the chapters that have been released. Interested readers can sign-up below to receive an email alert when a new chapter is posted.

Brent becomes the target of both the government and the terrorists, and finds an unexpected ally in a beautiful FBI computer crime investigator. Available for purchase on Amazon.
